Origin USA. Big red fruit of 300 to 450 grams cordiform more or less blunted in shoulders.
Commercial variety originating from the USA, resulting from the crossing of "Garden State" with "Victor" and "Rutgers", introduced commercially in 1953. This variety was widely cultivated in Provence at the end of the 1950s for the production of canned whole tomatoes and concentrate.
Dark pink fruit from 250 to 350 grams, round and slightly flattened with a hint of undulation in the upper part. Bouquets of 3 to 5 fruits. Depression at the peduncular attachment wide, corky and moderately deep. Trace of umbilicus in bulge marked by a line.
Thick skin, firm flesh containing few seeds.
Plant with determinate to semi-determinate growth.
Tendency to circular cracking.
