Very old commercial variety, developed by Alexander Livingston in 1875 in the USA. The latter was the main propagator and divulger of the tomato at the end of the 19th century in the USA. Himself a breeder, he is the progenitor of many varieties still cultivated today.
Dark red, almost purplish fruit from 180 to 250 grams, flattened and discreetly ribbed at the top.
Firm flesh with a sweet flavor.
Plant with small development not exceeding 1.20 m, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Good mid-season production.
NB: Some varieties produced by the Livingston's Company and the Giorgi Seeds Company were developed in the same years and have similar names. They are, however, very different cultivars.
