A commercial variety originating in Russia, its original name is "Grusha Oranzhevaya" which translated gives "Aladdin's Lamp", the name by which it is most commonly identified. Introduced in the 2007 Seeds Savers Yearbook.
Pear-shaped fruit, 80 to 180 grams, orange color identical to persimmon.
Firm fleshy and juicy flesh, orange gel, 5 to 6 cells. Very good sweet and acid flavor at the same time.
Perfect variety for making coulis or preserves.
Good productivity.
