Alesha Popovich is one of the three famous "bogatyrs" knight-errants in Russian folklore. There is a tomato with each name: "Ilya Muromets" and "Dobrynya Nikitich" are the other two.
Rosy red fruit weighing 200 to 300 grams, flattened beefsteak type, ribbed at the top with wavy shoulders for the larger ones. Deep depression at the peduncular attachment.
Flesh with a pleasant texture and very good flavor.
Well adapted to cool climates or short seasons.
