Commercial variety native of Russia, developed in Siberia. To note for others it would be native of Poland, it is true that with all these varieties whose name means "heart of buffalo" or "heart of ox" it is difficult to find there. Presented to the Seed Savers Yearbook of 2009 by Carolyn Homme who received the seed of Andrey Baravoski of Minsk, its translation gives "Heart of Buffalo".
