Native variety from the USA, discovered and developed by Brad Gates, Wild Boar Farms.
Fruit from 60 to 150 grams, round, slightly flattened at the poles and more or less ribbed at the top. Bunch of 4 to 5 fruits.
Red-brown skin, chocolate with metallic green stripes.
Juicy and fleshy flesh. Rich complex flavor, superbly balanced, reminiscent of the "black".
Plant with great development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Average mid-season production.
NB: there is an "XL" version of this variety: "Large black and red boar" producing fruits of the same aspect but bigger from 180 to 250 grams.
