BLACK PLUM
Native to Russia. Fruit of 50 to 80 grams, plum type of 6 cm long and 3 cm in diameter.
Heirloom variety native to Russia, introduced in 1994 by Seed Savers International. Variety very similar to 'De Barao black' and 'Black Mavr'.

Fruit of 50 to 80 grams, plum type, 6 cm long and 3 cm diameter (almost rectangular),
Mahogany purple color with green shoulders. Clusters of 6 to 12 fruits, the insertion to the peduncular attachment is superficial. Closed flower with 5 sepals.
Flesh of the type "paste" firm, absence of frost, 2 lodges. Perfumed and spicy flavor, spicy and smoky, best in the second part of the season. Well adapted to canning.
Variety fearing the big heats and naturally well adapted to the regions with fresh summer or short season.
