Heirloom variety which would be of origin of Italy, brought in Vermont by veteran of the second world war. Variety transmitted to Fedco Seeds by Annette Smith of "Blue Beech Farm", from where its patronymic.
Red elongated and cylindrical fruit of 180 to 300 grams of type "Cornue of the Andes".
Very dense flesh containing few gel and seeds. Very good flavor for a tomato of this type.
Despite its Italian origin, well adapted for 50 years to the much cooler climate of Vermont and therefore to any cool or short season climate.
