Variety created and developed by the Dpt of Horticulture and Phytopathology of the University of Arkansas directed by Dr Joe McFerran, cross between "Pinkshipper" and "Gulf state market" realized in 1961. Variety registered with the GNIS.
Pink fruit of 150 to 300 grams, round slightly flattened, beginning of ribbing in the upper part. Depression at the superficial and narrow peduncular attachment.
Fleshy and dense flesh with a wonderful sweet taste.
Regular exuberant foliage offering a good protection to the fruit, determinate or semi determinate growth, opinions differ.
Heat tolerant and resistant to fusariosis.
