BRANDYWINE BLACK RL
Accidental cross between an unidentified black variety... Big mahogany fruit with green shoulders.
Version of Brandywine black with regular foliage. This variety was discovered in the field of Brandywine Seeds in California, undoubtedly a natural cross between Brandywine and an unknown "black". There would exist several lines of this variety of which some would be stable and others unstable.
Large fruit of 180 to 350 grams, mahogany purplish with green shoulders when it is exposed to the direct sunlight. Flattened beefsteak type at the poles with waving shoulders.
Juicy beef flesh with an excellent flavor combining the legendary Brandywine flavor with that of black tomatoes.
