Russian heirloom variety of origin. There are 2 different strains in circulation.
Also referenced under the following names: Budenovka red, Budionovka ,Budjanoha , Budjanovca , Буденовка.
The one described here produces small oval fruit from 60 to 120 grams. Bunches of 8-10 fruits, on a plant of +/- 1.80 m.
(The other strain also called "Budenovka pink" producing heart-shaped pink fruits from 150 to 600 grams on a plant of +/-1.0m and determined growth).
In fact there will be a third variety with this name, described on the site of "Reseau Semences Paysannes", which would be the Siberian variant of the "Cornue des Andes".
In fact their only common point is their Russian/Siberian origin.
