Variety resulting from a segregation, carried out and developed by Bill Jeffers, of a line obtained from the cross between "Indian Stripe" x "Big Beef F1" (modern hybrid variety famous for its resistance). The original cross between was made by John Beidler, Connecticut.
Fruit of +/-200 to 300 grams, round, flattened and ribbed at the shoulders.
Original and rarely seen rusty-red-brownish-khaki color with greenish streaks at the shoulders.
Very fleshy beef with a nice texture. Good rich flavor.
Plant with great development and important production of the mid-season and beyond from the first small frosts.
