A heirloom variety originating in Russia, introduced and marketed in the USA under its translated name: "Carrot like". It is highly probable that it is the same as "Silvery Fir Tree", but Ventmarin takes this for granted.
The red fruit weighs 100 to 180 grams and is round and slightly flattened at the poles, with a slight ripple at the shoulders in the larger sizes. Clusters of 5 to 8 fruits. Good flavour.
Early and large production in relation to the size of the plant, which does not exceed 0.60 metres.
Ideal variety for pot cultivation and also for short season regions.
