Variety resulting from the crossing of "Cherokee Purple" with "Bonte Tigret" made by Bill Jeffers.
Fruit from 80 to 150 grams, round mini beefsteak type slightly ribbed with shoulders and rounded shoulders for larger sizes.
Purple epidermis finely striped with pink and yellow.
Dense and very firm purple flesh.
Excellent, rich and smoky flavor.
Bushy plant not exceeding one meter, chartreuse green foliage, determinate to semi-determinate growth to avoid invasion.
Regular good harvests from mid-season. The fruits keep well once picked.
Can eventually be grown in a large pot.
NB: another segregation of this cross gave "Cherokee Large Tiger dwarf","Cherokee Tiger Orange dwarf" and "Cherokee purple striped".
