Variety resulting from the crossing of Cherokee Purple with a dwarf striped tiger variety (Bonte Tigret) produced by Bill Jeffers.
Fruit of 120 to 300 grams, beefsteak type, round slightly flattened, discrete ribbing at the top and with rounded shoulders.
Bright red skin with gold stripes.
Dense and juicy beef flesh.
Excellent slightly acidic flavor.
Bushy plant with chartreuse green foliage, determinate to semi-determinate growth depending on the vigor or space available.
Good and regular harvests from mid-season. Can be grown in large pots.
NB: Another segregation of this cross gave "Cherokee Tiger Black Dwarf", "Cherokee Tiger Orange dwarf" and "Cherokee purple striped".
