Purple fruit with green shoulders from 120 to 250 grams, sometimes up to 400 grams. Round in shape, flattened at the poles and more or less deeply ribbed at the top.
Fleshy and juicy beefy flesh. Good, rich and sweet flavour. Multiple uses: fresh consumption, canning, coulis and drying.
Vigorous plant with great development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Generous mid-season production.
NB: there are other varieties with the same name in circulation (Black Prince, Schwarze Prinz, Chorniy princ ...) if they are all black/purple they are of different shape and size.
