Heirloom variety from Italy.
Small red fruit weighing 20 to 30 grams and 3 to 5 cm in diameter. Plum type with variable shape: heart-shaped/ovoid/oval. Bunches of 6 to 8 fruits.
Firm, thick flesh with excellent flavour.
Plant with medium development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Generous mid-season production and very good post-harvest storage of fruit.
NB: for many sources: "Corbarino" and "Grappoli Corbarino" are the same variety, but opinions differ on their respective origins: some Italian, others Swiss!
