A variety of unknown origin, a single specimen found in the middle of a plantation in North Carolina of 'Mountain Pride' and 'Better Boys', and whose characteristics do not match too well with these two varieties, which therefore do not seem to be 'its parents'. Named "Cow's tit" because of its resemblance to this one.
Red fruit, sometimes with green shoulders, up to 20 cm long and weighing 100-180 grams. Elongated cylindrical shape of the chilli type ending in a more or less invaginated nipple.
Thick, fleshy flesh with little gel and seeds. Excellent sweet flavour both cooked and fresh, very suitable for making coulis and paste.
The plant is large, with regular foliage, not very wispy, and indeterminate growth.
Good productivity and good shelf life once picked.
