Commercial heirloom variety developed in the 1940s by the University of Louisiana to create a variety resistant to hot and humid climates.
Fruit is red, round and smooth, noticeably flattened, 7 to 8 cm in diameter and 120 to 180 grams. Shallow and medium wide depression at the stem attachment.
Firm and juicy flesh, lots of gel and seeds. Good old-fashioned tomato flavour.
Good resistance to Verticillium and Fusarium.
Well adapted to warm and humid climates.
