Native to Piedmont, Italy. Red fruit with green shoulders, 150 to 300 grams, pear-shaped.
Variety originating in Italy, probably in the province of Cuneo in southern Piedmont.
Red fruit with green shoulders weighing 150 to 350 grams, strongly ribbed or even wrinkled at the top and sometimes all along the body. Clusters of 6 to 8 units. Looks like Ligularia which is native to the same region.
Fleshy, multi-located, often half-hollow. Rich flavour.
Variety intended for the preparation of sauces or coulis as a rule when cooked.
Very large plant with very good mid-season production.
