Developed in 1985 by the Department of Horticulture and Forestry, North Dakota Agricultar Experiment Station and North Dakot University. Cross of Cannonball x ("Sheyenne" x Fargo yellow pear").
The fruit weighs +/- 200 grams and is slightly flattened and uniformly green before ripening and bright yellow to orange when ripe. The fruit has a thin skin and is prone to cracking, especially in bad weather and excess water, so it is recommended that they are picked at mid-ripening and left to ripen under cover at room temperature, as this greatly reduces the problem.
Full, juicy, light yellow flesh with a sweet flavour typical of white tomatoes.
This variety is adapted to the harsh climate of North Dakota and will be well suited to cool summer or short season regions. It would be a doubt about its growth type for its developers it would be determinate or "bush type". Good production.
