Heirloom variety from Germany. Listed in the 1999 Seed Saver Yearbook.
Large, pink, beefsteak-like fruit weighing 250-500 grams, irregularly shaped, usually flattened with a broad ribbed top and slightly rounded shoulders.
Fleshy flesh, small pockets with little gel and seeds. Excellent sweet and mild flavour.
Medium sized plant with potato foliage and indeterminate growth.
Good mid-season production.
