A heirloom variety from the USA. Sent to Dorothy Beiswenger by Lloyd Duggin. Featured in the 1996 Seed Savers Yearbook.
Fruit 180-300 g beefsteak type, round, slightly flattened and more or less ribbed on the upper half.
Yellowish-white skin with a slight pinkish blush when fully ripe. Medium depression at the stem attachment.
Fleshy and juicy flesh with pink marbling in the centre. Good mild, fragrant and slightly sweet taste.
Very vigorous plant with wide development, dense foliage, indeterminate growth.
Particularly productive and rather early variety.
