Variety originating from Russia, its original name being Изумрудное Ябпоко which translated gives Izumrudnoe Yabloko (Emerald Apple).
Large fruit of 200 to 400 grams, beefsteak type, round, flattened and ribbed at the shoulders. Bouquets of 4 to 5 fruits.
Emerald green epidermis tinged with amber when ripe
Dense beef flesh, green sometimes mottled with pink, multilogged containing few seeds.
Excellent sweet flavor, to be consumed before full maturity, the fruits losing their taste qualities if overripe.
