Variety believed to have originated in Switzerland and whose original name has been lost. Valery Popenko, Kazachstan received seeds from one of his customers who told him it was called "Этуаль" (Star).
Attractive red fruit, 100-200 grams, fleshy plum type, elongated and strongly ribbed/ribbed all along the body with a pear-shaped tendency.
Paste-like flesh, hollow lodgements with very little gel. Surprisingly good and balanced flavour for a tomato of this type.
Large plant, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Excellent production from mid-season. Susceptible to black-bottom rot.
