Variety originating from the USA. From the crossing of "Lucky cross" and an unknown variety, stabilized by Millard Murdock.
Fruit from 180 to 350 grams of beefsteak type, round slightly flattened at the poles and with rounded shoulders for larger sizes.
Smooth tricolor robe: amber-green-red.
Green beef flesh marbled with pink in the middle, fleshy and juicy. Excellent flavor to consume "al dente", loses its taste qualities if too ripe.
Medium-growing plant, sparse regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Good production, regular from mid-season until frost.
NB: The other lines of this cross gave: "Black Mamba", "Black Magic", "Martha Logan" and "Captain Lucky".
