Variety believed to be of Italian origin, introduced in Maine, USA, in the 1970's where it is also known as "Eleanor's tomatoes" and/or "Frank's" after the people who developed it.
Red fruit weighing 180 to 300 grams, more or less elongated plum type, which can give it a heart-shaped appearance.
Very juicy flesh with a sweet and balanced flavour.
Despite its shape it is not a paste tomato, as it is too juicy, but it will make excellent tomato juice.
