Variety originating from the Bleggio region, Italy. Obtained from Remo Farina, retired truck driver, who also holds the Italian record for the largest tomato.
Big red fruit that can reach a kilo and sometimes more, like a bulging beefsteak with deeply ribbed shoulders.
Very dense and fleshy beefy flesh, very little gel and seeds. Frank flavor of old tomato.
