An old Amish heirloom variety from Virginia, USA. Featured in the 2007 Seed Savers Yearbook.
Large cream to yellow fruit weighing 300 to 600 grams, flattened, ribbed at the top and with rounded or even curved shoulders for the largest sizes.
Dense, fleshy, ivory-coloured beef flesh, multi-logged with little gel and seeds. Excellent sweet flavour with a hint of acidity.
Important production in the second half of the season.
