The colour is bright green, sometimes turning amber or almost orange when the fruit becomes very ripe or even blunt. The depression at the stem is deep, wide and corky.
Green, fleshy and juicy beefy flesh. Refreshing flavour with a hint of bitterness, typical of "vertes".
