Almost unknown variety, seeds obtained by Jacky Mercier, collector in Vienne, who received a bag of seeds from Greece with as only indication its name: "Homaoteck".
Very large red fruit whose weight often exceeds the kilo and can reach 3 pounds. Of type beefsteak, the shape is variable most often flattened and ribbed to see wrinkled on the 2/3 of the body but possibility of having round fruits slightly stretched with cordiform tendency blunt. Very broad corky depression at the peduncular attachment.
Fleshy and thick beefy flesh containing few seeds and gel. Typical flavor of old tomatoes.
Plant with moderate development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Average production in the second part of the season.
