A heirloom variety discovered at a nursery in the New York area, with the original seed coming from an employee of the nursery. Listed on the Seed Savers Exchange in 2006.
Beef steak type fruit, 150-250 grams, round, flattened and ribbed at the top.
Green in colour, turning a blush of amber-orange when fully ripe, shoulders remaining green.
Smooth and juicy green flesh, fruity flavour typical of the "vertes" with a little less sweetness and a little more pungency.
