Very old commercial heirloom from the USA, introduced in 1910 by Isbell's Seeds Co. and offered to the Seed Savers Yearbook in 2004 by Craig LeHouillier.
Fruit is 200-500 grams flattened beefsteak type with heavily ribbed, "ruffled" shoulders.
Bright yellow colour with a pink blush on the apical part at the end of ripening.
Fleshy, juicy, multi-located, yellow beefy flesh. Excellent sweet flavour.
Plant with great development.
