A heirloom variety from Kentucky, featured in the Seed Savers Yearbook in 2006.
Large, beefsteak-like fruit, 250-500 grams, bicoloured orange-yellow and red, flattened and more or less ribbed at the top depending on fruit size.
The flesh is pineapple-like, firm, juicy and multicoloured with a fruity flavour and a hint of acidity.
Very resistant, productive and tolerant to cool weather conditions.
