Variety heirloom which would have originated in Portugal. Named in honor of Larry Kukla who collected the seed from a certain Joe, probably a Portuguese immigrant; but we don't know more about the origin and history of this variety.
Fruit of 120 to 250 grams, red, cordate more or less ribbed even ribbed on a large part of the body.
Very fleshy flesh with an excellent sweet taste.
Plant with very large development which can reach 3.0 m, regular and vaporous foliage.
