Variety originating from Romania, probably a spontaneous mutation Lescana "beef" observed by Martin Longseth, collector in Wisconsin.
Large fruit of 300 to 500 grams, +/- 10 cm in diameter and +/- 12 cm high, irregularly shaped from heart-shaped to round.
Red colour with yellow shoulders if exposed to direct sunlight. Clusters of 5 to 6 units.
Very juicy beefy flesh with excellent, well-balanced flavour.
Foliage is wispy.
Mid-season production, early for such large fruits.
