A very recent variety, developed from 2009 to 2015 as part of the Dwarf Tomato Project. One of the varieties from the Rosy F1 line crossed by Patricia Nuske in 2009 with 'Orange Heirloom' and 'Rosella purple F4' (the latter from the Sleepy F1 line crossed with 'Budai Torpe' and 'Stump of the World' and selected by Craig LeHoullier). Released to the public in 2015, in the F7 generation.
Orange fruit of 180 to 350 grams of beefsteak type, flattened with more or less rounded or lobed shoulders.
Beefy flesh with a delicious, well-balanced flavour.
Compact tree-like plant with regular rugosa foliage. Good mid-season production.
Looks like its cousin "Loxton lad" but with smaller fruit.
