Marmande mutation that appeared in the USA. Green fruit with an amber blush when ripe, 200 to 350 grams.
A recent variety, resulting from a spontaneous mutation or a deliberate cross, which appeared in the USA from the classic "Marmande". The stabilisation of this variety is not certain. Presented at the Seed Savers Yearbook in 2010.
Green fruit with amber blush at maturity, 200 to 350 grams, round and flattened beefsteak type with more or less pronounced ribbing at the shoulders. Shallow but wide depression at the stem attachment.
Juicy, multi-located beef flesh with lots of gel and seeds.
Nice tomato but the flavour is not up to par, just average.
