Very old variety, heirloom from Kentucky, USA. Listed in the Seed Savers Yearbook of 1988. Introduced commercially in 2014 by TatianaTomatioBase. There is some confusion about the foliage, both versions are in circulation but the standard states that it should be regular.
Large pink fruit weighing 300-700 grams, beefsteak type. Round shape, more or less flattened, discreet ribbing at the top, some rippling at the shoulders, the larger the fruit size.
Full, juicy beef flesh with a deliciously rich flavour.
Ideal for sandwiches.
