Altai honey comes in two varieties: one with pink fruits, developed in Ukraine, and the other with yellow/orange fruits, bred in Siberia.
Raspberry-pink fruit, 300-400 grams, heart-shaped and blunt. Clusters of 5 to 6 units.
Very dense flesh with a creamy texture. Deliciously sweet flavour.
Plant with large development but small stems, regular, sparse foliage with large leaflets, indeterminate growth.
Early to mid-season production.
Good fruit set, fruit seems to fear direct sunlight, do not thin out leaves too much.
