MIKA'S RED BULGARIAN
Red fruit weighing 180 to 350 grams, round, slightly flattened, with more or less ribbed and rounded shoulders.
A heirloom variety from Bulgaria, introduced in 2004 by Carolyn Male, who received the seed from David Kroska who, at the time, also supplied him with the seed of another Bulgarian variety: Kroska pink Bulgarian.
Red fruit weighing 180-350 grams, round, slightly flattened, with more or less ribbed and rounded shoulders. Wide and deep depression at the stem attachment.
Beefy flesh with a creamy texture, multi-layered. Excellent flavour, one of Dr Carolyn Homme's favourite red varieties.
Good mid-season production.
