Large, smooth-skinned, yellow fruit weighing up to 500 grams. Beef steak type, flattened and with rounded shoulders.
Fleshy, dense flesh with the flavour of old-fashioned tomatoes.
Note that there is a pink version of its sister: "La Vie en rose".
