A heirloom from the USA, another strain of the famous 'Mortgage Lifter' from Charlotte Mullens, West Virginia, listed in the 1990 Seed Saver Yearbook. This cultivar produces slightly smaller fruit and has lighter, chartreuse green foliage than the original M.C. Byles version.

Large, dark pink, 400-800 gram beefsteak-like fruit, slightly flattened at the poles, ribbed at the top and with more or less rounded shoulders depending on size. Strong depression at the peduncular attachment.
Fleshy, dense beef flesh with excellent flavour.
Plant with medium development, regular chartreuse green foliage, indeterminate growth.
Good production from mid-season to frost, good storage life after harvest, good heat resistance.
Harvest 2023, bag of approx. 15 seeds.
