There are two varieties with similar names "Moscovitch" and "Moskvitch", their name translated means "inhabitant of Moscow". These would be two different varieties. The one we are interested in here would be a Siberian heirloom.
The fruit is orange-red, weighing 100 to 180 grams, round and slightly flattened with discreetly rounded shoulders.
Flesh is full and juicy with few small cavities. Rich taste and good flavour.
Semi-determined growth and small development +/- 0.50 m.
Very cold tolerant variety, therefore well suited to cool summer or short season regions.
