OLGA ROUND YELLOW CHICKEN
Russian origin, despite its name. Round orange-yellow fruit with a slight heart-shaped tendency, 100 to 200 grams.
This variety is believed to have originated in Russia, at the Barnaul Horticultural Institute in Siberia. The original name was lost and it was renamed by Bill McDorman who collected the seed in Russia. Featured in the 1998 Seed Savers Yearbook.
Round orange-yellow fruit with a slight heart-shaped tendency, 100-200 grams. Clusters of 3 to 4 fruits. Smooth, thick and spotless skin.
Juicy flesh with a rather acidic taste.
Compact and robust plant, very productive.
Suitable for regions with cool summers and/or short seasons.
