ORLINYI KLYUV
Native to Russia. Large, heart-shaped pink fruit, slightly ribbed at the shoulders, 200 to 400 grams.
A rare variety from Siberia, introduced to North America by Andrey Baranovski of Minsk and featured in the 2007 Seed Savers Yearbook. Orlinyi Klyuv is the correct original name, do not use its translation "Eagle's Beak" which are only trade names to mislead the amateur.
Large, pink, heart-shaped fruit, slightly ribbed at the shoulders, 200-400 grams. The name comes from the way the tip of the fruit ends: eagle-beak shaped.
Beefy flesh with very good flavour.
Good yield, well adapted to cool conditions.
