A recent cross between 'Paul Robeson' and 'Mortgage Lifter' developed by Jinnie Farrell.
Large purple fruit, without green shoulders unlike most "blacks", 250-400 grams, beefsteak type, almost perfectly shaped without cracks, uniformly round and flattened with slightly rounded and ribbed shoulders.
Firm, fleshy and juicy flesh. Mild flavour similar to the smoky taste of 'Paul Robeson'.
Inherited from 'Mortgage Lifter' the excellent productivity of the second half of the season.
