PERTSEVIDNY GIGANT
Russian origin. Red fruit of 150 to 250 grams, cylindrical plum type, elongated of +/- 15 centimeters.
Variety originating from Siberia, Russia, its name translates as "giant pepper-shaped". Listed in the 2007 state register.
Synonyms: Perzevidniy Gigant - Pertsevidny Gigant - Перцевидный гигант.
Red fruit 150-250 grams, cylindrical plum type, elongated +/- 15 centimetres. Clusters of 5 to 9 fruits.
Fleshy, dense paste-like flesh with little gel and seeds. Slightly sweet taste, excellent flavour. The fruit is used for both preserving and fresh consumption.
Vigorous plant with great development that should be trained on 2 stems for a better yield, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Good mid-season production, up to 3 kg per plant.
