A stabilised cross of 'Happy's happy' and 'Black krim' by Larry Pierce for Baker Creek's seed. Introduced to the trade in 2006 and featured in the Seed Savers Yearbook the same year.
Fruit weighs 120-300 grams, round and slightly flattened with varying degrees of ribbing.
Skin is purple-black with green shoulders.
Fleshy and juicy purple flesh, multi-located. Excellent rich and complex flavour.
Very good production on a well-developed plant, over 2.0m.
