The heirloom is believed to have originated in Utah, USA and was called "Purple Passion" until 2013.
Large pink fruit weighing 300 to 500 grams, beefsteak-like, flattened at the poles, more or less ribbed at the top and with rounded shoulders.
Dense, fleshy and juicy beefy flesh. Delicious, sweet and balanced flavour on a Brandywine level.
Vigorous plant with great development, potato foliage, indeterminate growth.
Good early season production for this size of tomato.
Good overall resistance, especially to cracking and shattering.
NB: there is an F1 variety of the same name that produces pink fruit but with a heart-shaped oval shape!
Harvest 2023, bag of approx. 15 seeds.
